When I suggested the team to adopt a single step setup for a new green-field application, to my surprise, there was resistance to the idea!
Does it have to be one step? Can’t we just use the old way??
This surprised me - I know the team struggled with the setup of the old application. Heck, even I struggle with the application setup!
The application setup time became so bad - it would be three days of setup!
THREE DAYS!
That’s half a work week.
How could the team accept this??
