Burpee Workout Notes: Injury Downward Spiral

These are workout notes - they start from this post

Once I established I could consistently do my workout with my lifestyle, I would continue doing it.

What usually happens with previous workouts, I would go too hard and injure myself. I try and recover, then I get back into the workout a little too soon before I’m fully recovered (OR I push myself just as hard as I would before getting injured.)

It seems silly but my mindset is to get back working out because well, working out is good for me. So I can do it if I just try hard enough.

Therein lies a paradox: I want to do something good for me, but the reason I injure myself is because of the good thing.

I never get out of that loop in my head.

That usually kills all workout routines I had before. Getting injured and getting injured again during recovery.

I realize I need to align my workout with my goal
