Getting Things Done - Focus on the Spirit

Instead of working against my situation - i.e. not having consistent Getting Things Done time - I work with it.
How??
I set a goal for myself to schedule a repeating event for myself for everything I want to get done. This is my daily list:
- GTD - clarify (15 minutes)
- GTD - personal (30 minutes)
- GTD - blog (30 minutes)
On a weekly basis, I have a “GTD - reflect (30 minutes)”.
I schedule these early in the morning, around the “ideal time”. If I can do them then, great. If I cannot get the scheduled item done at the ideal time, I just move them to a time when I can.
The goal is to get these daily rituals done. When I get them done is another story.
That’s probably one failure I had the first time implementing the Getting Things Done system. I focused on having the perfect system according to the book, not to the spirit, that is: getting things done.
