Problem Creep: Solution Creep

Previously, I wrote about breathe and solve when solving the local development on-boarding is a problem.

With any problem that creeps into your team is that the longer the problem crept into your team, the harder it is to “extract out” and solve.

The problem embeds itself into the team’s identity and solving it takes careful consideration, not just amongst team members but with partners as well.

Worst of all, when the problem is purely technical it’s hard to prioritize a fix among all the other things going on.

Breathe and find a solution that reflects the way the problem crept in. That way, the solution will “creep in” and the problem will creep out - effectively disappearing, leaving only with a solution.
