Problem Creep: Solution Alignment

• Let current solution continue.
• Stop team and fix it.
• Slowly fix the problem.

Which one of these is appropriate? It depends.

One of the most important aspect in choosing a solution is that, whichever one you choose, there will also be a culture shift.

Why?

Because the culture (or lack of culture) is a key reason why the problem crept in the first place.

The worst thing that can happen is you choose a solution, but over time, the problem happens again because the team’s culture does not support it.

As a leader, choose a solution path that results in the new culture you want the team to exhibit.
